Primary Health Care Training


1. With the assistance of the YWAM Megacity Teams, Perth, Australia, one day training camps on Primary Health Care which includes fever, diarrhoes, wound care, nutrition etc. were conducted at the following centres: NNP+ Feeding Centre at Barasat where 6 staff were trained.
SNP+ Feeding Centre at Sonarpur where 2 staff and 30 mothers of HIV positive children were trained.
CLC project Tangra- Parents of 30 children from the slum area were trained.

2. A medical camp was conducted for the slum dwellers of Tangra where primary health check-up was done and medicines given.

3. Three staff underwent certificate course in midwifery conducted by the School of Midwifery, YWAM, Perth Australia.
